Alcohol can be made of almost all starch-, sugar- or alcohol containing materials.

Cereals and potatoes mainly belong to the starch containing raw materials (also waste from potato processing companies for example). It is primarily to the sugar containing materials that molasses belong from the sugar industry and sugar-beets.

Alcohol of superior quality can also be made from fruits (apples, pears, cherries...) and waste from fruit-juice industry, and equally other wastes also can be made use of.

Also, beer and wine belong to the alcohol containing raw materials.
